How HERSPath handles claims and corrections
Source priority
We prefer current primary sources from RESNET, accredited providers, rating providers, government code and licensing authorities, official standards or program pages, and manufacturer documentation. A citation supports only the claim and fact pattern it actually covers.
Changing requirements
Training, exams, provider agreements, quality assurance, continuing education, equipment, fees, insurance, and local-code requirements can change. Confirm current requirements directly before spending money, representing credentials, signing a contract, or performing work.
Professional review
We do not imply review by a HERS rater, accredited provider, quality-assurance professional, code official, engineer, attorney, insurer, or manufacturer unless the reviewer is named and the page states credentials, scope, and review date. Organization bylines identify the publisher, not certification or licensure.
Corrections
Send the page URL, disputed statement, and current primary authority to support@herspath.com. We may correct, qualify, or withdraw material while it is reviewed.
